In spite of what some may claim, there is no such thing as an expert in the paranormal field. Our team of investigators follow a set of strict standards and use common sense.
Although we believe ghost exist, there is no real proof. All any paranormal investigator can offer is their best theory based on their method and experience. We do not interpret everything paranormal. We view everything with skepticism.
We should all be skeptical when it comes to paranormal investigations. A skeptic by definition is someone who practices the method of suspended judgment, engages in rational and dispassionate reasoning as exemplified by the scientific method, shows willingness to consider alternative explanations without prejudice based on prior beliefs, and who seeks out evidence and carefully scrutinizes its validity.
Questions are a very good and healthy thing. Most any sound can be paranormal if you are willing to dismiss logic and reasoning. Some sounds can be dismissed because that knock in the wall was just copper pipes expanding, or those footsteps in the attic may be some rodent who made its way into the building.
As a ghost hunter and paranormal investigator, skepticism is a good thing.
